Many people question if online Hypnosis can work. It most certainly can! You naturally go into Hypnosis (alpha or theta brain waves) every day. The only thing you need is the sound of my voice, being in a comfy and safe room with headphones. It is as effective as an in-person session, and you can go deep into hypnosis.

Does Hypnotherapy works?

Yes, hypnotherapy can be amazingly powerful at helping people to make the changes they want to make in their lives. However it is not a miracle cure, it still requires work and commitment on your part. I don’t snap my fingers and ‘cure’ you. It is a partnership where you and I work together to overcome an issue.

How does it work?

Hypnosis is thought to work by altering our state of consciousness in such a way that the analytical left-hand side of the brain is turned off, while the non-analytical right-hand side is made more alert. Hypnosis is a natural state of being that we go into between 10 to 100 times every day. So, it is very easy for you to achieve this state of being. In this session, I will use progressive relaxation, which is the most powerful and natural way to get you into hypnosis (your subconscious mind). You are fully in control of yourself at all times, you can open your eyes whenever you like.
My clients and I have found that online ( Zoom) sessions are as effective as in-person sessions. The key to a successful session is to simply relax.

What do you need?

Please make sure you have headphones, charged laptop\phone, download Zoom with great wifi! A comfy sofa/bed or chair with a blanket. Make sure you are alone in a quiet and safe place, so you can talk freely.

Is there anything I should't do before my session?

Please do not drink alcohol heavily the night before. Please avoid coffee 2 hours before your session. If you are on anti-depressants please take them after the session.

What can hypnotherapy be useful for?

Hypnotherapy can help you remove your limiting beliefs and blockages, fears and phobias. It can also help you with weight loss, stop smoking, anxiety, stress and addicting behaviours. it could improve your quality of sleep and many other issues.

 

What can you expect after your session?

The majority of my clients express feeling a general sense of wellbeing and calmness after our first session. Often when a person is in hypnosis, there will be some direct suggestions that are made to the subconscious mind. Within a period of time after a hypnosis session, a person can experience some kind of benefits, whether it’s they feel lighter, they feel like they’ve had some release, they have some understanding—it’s really different for everyone.

 

How many sessions do I need?

The average hypnosis sessions that are required is about 4 to 6 and hypnosis is proven to be about 93% successful in about 4 to 6 sessions. It has a high success rate. It’s important that a person looks at it as a process because even though Erin would love to be able to wave her magic wand, it’s unrealistic to expect that 20 years of a pattern that’s been established can be undone in only 1 session in an hour. There’s often the need to, over multiple sessions, release different things that are all a part of the end symptom, whether it’s anxiety or whether it’s a phobia. It’s a process and it’s not one single session that is best for people to understand so that they’re actually understanding that they have to do some work. Listening to recordings in between sessions is sometimes helpful for some people just to create that different neural pathway, to establish a new behaviour that’s deeper set into the subconscious mind.
